Before we continue

Please read all five. They decide whether an online consultation is safe and appropriate for you.

Step 2 of 8

  1. I’m currently in Australia.

Our clinicians are registered here, so we can only consult while you’re in the country.

  2. I don’t have any emergency warning signs.

No chest pain, severe trouble breathing, collapse or fainting, signs of stroke, uncontrolled bleeding, a severe allergic reaction, or any immediate risk of harm to yourself or someone else.

  3. My symptoms are mild and manageable.

A clinician still needs to consult with you. A certificate isn’t guaranteed — you may be referred to care that suits you better.

  4. I agree to the terms and privacy policy.

And I’ll answer the questions that follow honestly and completely, to the best of my knowledge. Read the terms and the privacy policy.

  5. I need this for a recent, short illness absence.

Online certificates cover common illness absences. Work cover, insurance or legal certificates, mental-health-related absences, and dates well in the past need an in-person assessment.

If this is an emergency — call 000

Nothing is sent to the clinic until you’ve passed this check.
